“I became involved with the development of the Selkirk Rex by association, as it were. Chris Thomas (Ursinha British) kept going on about this “curly British” she’d seen at the London Cat Club 2005 Show. She eventually persuaded me to have a dabble in the breed and in 2006 we jointly purchased Beaumaris Shock Waves (Maris) from Anne & Brian Gregory and Curlu Edgar from Pamela Anderson”. Chris Hazel

We then joined the newly formed Selkirk Rex Cat Club and I allowed myself to be talked into being on the Committee. Chris then promptly legged it overseas, claiming retirement on the grounds of ill health – a likely story! I’ve almost forgiven her now…. Anyway, two years on, things have moved on apace, I have bred several litters and love them all for their loving temperament. Here are a few of my ‘kids’
